Sadako Sasaki by Rachel


Rachel animated the story of Sadako Sasaki of Hiroshima, Japan, and her brave quest to make a thousand paper cranes while suffering from Leukemia caused by the atom bomb.

"King" Kristina Vasa by Tracy



This animated history of Kristina Vasa, who ruled Sweden as "King" in the 1600's, was made by fifth-grade Tracy.

Jody Anne Maxwell by Alexis



Fifth Grader Alexis animated this film about Scripps Howard National Spelling Bee winner Jody Anne Maxwell of Jamaica.

Mary Anning by Miranda



Twelve year old Miranda made this animated portrait of Mary Anning, a twelve-year-old girl who found a fossilized Icthyosaur in the early 1800s on the English coast.

Girls of the World Producer

Lynn Tomlinson has produced work for Kids Public Television, Sesame Street, and MTV. She is a professor teaching animation in the summers at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, and works as an independent producer during the rest of the year. She is a studio artist in Sculpture at the Crealdé School of Art in Winter Park, Florida. You can see some of her work here:
